About Mamun University
Mamun University was established in 2020 and started in the city of Khiva, and soon extended its campuses to the adjacent city of Urgench. It is a private university and functions under the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Science & Education of Uzbekistan. In 2020, it started as a small medical academy in Khiva by Mr. Arslon Otanazarovich. Within just a few years, it extended its campuses in neighbouring city of Urgench as well, and today has more than 3 campuses spread across these two adjacent cities. At present, 13,000+ students (Uzbeks and foreigners) study here and approximately 850+ teachers are engaged in training students across 12 departments.
