Anhui Medical University

(short)Anhui Medical University was founded in the year 1926 in the capital Hefei, Anhui, China. The university has highly qualified faculty from across the world. Anhui Medical University offers undergraduate and postgraduate medical courses in various fields such as medicine, dentistry, pharmacy, nursing, public health, and preventive medicine. The predecessor of Anhui Medical University was Dongnam Medical College, established in 1926 in Shanghai. Moved first to Huayuan County, Anhui Province, at the end of 1949, and then to Hefei, the capital of Anhui Province, in 1952. In June 1996, it was renamed Anhui Medical University. According to the list published by the Indian Embassy in China, the university is one of the 45 MCI/NMC-approved medical universities in China. The MBBS degree offered by this university is valid in India.
