The medium of instruction at the institute is the English language. The entire MBBS program is available in English, eliminating language barriers for Indian and international students. The MBBS programme at ASMI follows NMC guidelines, consisting of 5 years of academic study followed by a 1-year internship (total 6 years). A 5-year MD program is also available.

Students from the general category must have 50% marks (PCB) in 12th, while reserved category students must have 40% marks. NEET qualification is mandatory in 2025/2024/2023. The student must be at least 17 years of age by 31st December of the year of application
The annual tuition fee at Asian Medical Institute is $3,400 USD. The hostel fee is $300 USD per semester and mess charges are $500 USD per semester (paid separately). The total MBBS fees for the complete course is INR 19.55 Lakhs for the 2025 session.
ASMI offers two intakes — Fall intake from September to October and Spring intake from February to March.
Indian students enrolling in the MBBS programme at Asian Medical Institute can appear for India's FMGE/NExT examinations. Upon successfully passing these exams, they become eligible to work as registered medical practitioners in India, whether in the government or private sector.
