Georgian American University (GAU), established in 2001 in Tbilisi, Georgia, is a leading private university founded through a joint initiative between Georgian and American educators with a vision to deliver internationally benchmarked higher education. Accredited by the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and following the Bologna Process, GAU offers undergraduate, graduate, and doctoral programs across five schools: Medical School, Business School, Law & Diplomacy, Informatics & Engineering, and Humanities. The Medical School, established in 2017, offers a 6-year English-medium Undergraduate MD (MBBS equivalent) program of 360 ECTS credits, recognized by WHO, NMC (India), FAIMER, WFME, and WDOMS.
