Mamun University

Mamun University was established in 2020 and started in the city of Khiva, and soon extended its campuses to the adjacent city of Urgench. It is a private university and functions under the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Science & Education of Uzbekistan. In 2020, it started as a small medical academy in Khiva by Mr. Arslon Otanazarovich. Within just a few years, it extended its campuses in neighbouring city of Urgench as well, and today has more than 3 campuses spread across these two adjacent cities. At present, 13,000+ students (Uzbeks and foreigners) study here and approximately 850+ teachers are engaged in training students across 12 departments. One of the major benefits of choosing Mamun University is that the university offers relatively low tuition fees and individualised academic support due to a low student-to-faculty ratio. The university provides education in discipline, ethics, and skills. Times Higher Education The university is recognized by WHO, NMC (India), and listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools (WDOMS). Hundreds of Indians from Mamun University have passed FMGE/NExT and are currently working in India. Mamun University is also listed in the Nature Index for its research output in natural and health sciences, highlighting its growing academic research presence.
