Novosibirsk State University

Novosibirsk State University (NSU) is a public research university located in Novosibirsk, Russia. The university was founded in 1958 on the principles of integration of education and science, early involvement of students with research activities, and the engagement of leading scientists in its teaching programmes. NSU is located in the world-famous scientific center — Akademgorodok — with 80% of NSU faculty members being active scientists from the Siberian Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The university has 7,500 students, 1,600 foreign students from 46 countries, and 2,500+ faculty members including 1,450 professors with PhD and doctoral degrees, spread across 6 faculties and 3 institutes
