Yes, Our Lady of Fatima University is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC) of India (formerly MCI) and the World Health Organization (WHO). Graduates can appear for the FMGE/NExT screening examination and legally practice medicine in India after clearing it.
English is the sole language of instruction at OLFU. The Philippines is a native English-speaking country, making it easy for Indian and international students to study without any language barrier.
The MBBS course at Our Lady of Fatima University is a combination of BS-MD. The duration consists of BS-MD and internship time — totalling 6 years. BS being the basic course covers 4 semesters taking 2 years of time, followed by MD which has a separate duration of 4 years.
The MBBS students can stay at the OLFU hostel on campus. OLFU has distinct hostels for girls and boys. The dormitory rooms are large, with the option of being fully air-conditioned and furnished with pleasant furnishings. Rooms with attached washrooms and toilets are available. The age of candidates must be 17 years and must be no older than 25 years. They should have passing marks in all mandatory subjects in 12th grade, with a minimum of 50% required in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, and must have qualified in the compulsory NEET exam.

Our Lady of Fatima University MD degree is recognized as equivalent to the MBBS course in India by the Medical Council of India (MCI) and students will be given a license to practice in India after completion of the MCI exam in India.
