Critical NMC Guidelines for FMGs (2021 onwards)
Before taking admission to any medical college in Uzbekistan, Indian students must ensure the university complies with the NMC's Foreign Medical Graduate Licentiate Regulations:
Teaching Medium
English Medium
The entire course of study must be taught in English medium. Dual or bilingual courses are not recognized.
Course Duration
Minimum 54 Months
Minimum duration of MBBS must be 54 months (4.5 years), followed by a mandatory 12-month internship at the same institution.
License to Practice
Local Registration
Graduates must be eligible to register and obtain a license to practice medicine in the country of study.
