Yes, KRSU is certified by WHO, NMC (National Medical Commission), FAIMER, and ECFMG and is eligible to practice medicine globally. Indian graduates can appear for FMGE/NExT and legally practice medicine in India after clearing it.
The medium of education at Kyrgyz Russian Slavic University is completely English and there is no compulsion on students to learn the local language as part of the course curriculum. This is done for the convenience of international students.
The university provides fully furnished dorms for its international students. Water supply, internet access, and air conditioning are among the services offered. The rooms have plenty of space and good ventilation. Hostel prices begin at USD 700 per year. A comfortable 4-star hostel with Indian food options is available. Hostel and Mess are both compulsory in the 1st year only.
Candidates must complete 12th grade with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology, securing a minimum of 50% marks for general category students (40% for reserved categories). NEET qualification is mandatory for Indian students. Minimum age must be 17 years as of December 31st of the year of admission.
The tuition fees at KRSU are approximately USD 4,000–4,500 per year. Living expenses are around USD 120–150 per month in Bishkek. Hostel prices begin at USD 700 per year. Tuition fee, hostel and mess fees can be paid semester-wise.
The tuition fee for Year 1 is $7,500 USD. From Year 2 onward it is $6,000 USD/year. Hostel & mess fee is $2,150 USD/year and medical fee is $200 USD/year from Year 2 onward — making the total annual cost $8,350 USD from Year 2. Total MBBS fees for the whole course is INR 27.45 Lakhs, including tuition, hostel & medical insurance.
KRSU offers two intakes every year — the February (Spring) session and the September (Fall) session, providing flexibility for Indian students to plan their admission.
Graduates from KRSU have vast global career options. With NMC and WHO recognition, students can appear for licensing exams like FMGE, USMLE, and PLAB.
